Our In Touch program ensures that every member of Central is cared for and is receiving information about the life of the church. The membership is divided into groups; each group is overseen by a point person; the point person makes regular contact with his or her list, letting the pastor and others know when there are needs or changes in status, and relaying important information to each member.

Doorstep
Doorstep provides food, clothing, and other assistance to community members according to need. Doorstep has 53 churches that share the work, staffing the pantry, clothing rooms and other operations out of the building at 10th and Buchanan; Doorstep is run by an independent board, and the work is overseen by an executive director. Central Congregational prides itself in being a founding church when Doorstep was developed in 1966 in response to the tornado.

Let's Help
The fourth Friday of each month Central Congregational Church provides cakes for the daily noon meal provided at Let's Help in Topeka. Many volunteers are there at Let's Help to prepare and serve the meal on that day. If you would like to be involved in this project, please contact the church for information.
