Worship in the Park with WSBC
On Sunday, September 18, 2011, Central joined with West Side Baptist Church for worship in the shelter house by the zoo in Gage Park. Pastors Kip and Sherry led the service. Choirs joined together from both churches to provide special music. Members and guests of the congregations sang songs accompanied by guitar players from both churches. Following the worship service, all enjoyed good food and fellowship with a potluck dinner. We hope to repeat this event.

Spiritual Growth

The Spiritual Growth group meets for lectionary study and prayer Tuesday mornings at 9:30am at the home of Vada Drayer

Wednesday Night Bible Study

Church classes are given on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00. The current study is on the Book of Acts. The church dining room is open at 5:15 for you to bring your supper in to eat before class.

Farmers Market

The Farmers Market group met every Saturday, 7:30a through Spring and Summer, at the State parking lot, 10th and Topeka Blvd. They met to work our booth at the Farmers Market selling baked goods and crafts to help support our church. The last summer they did this event was 2010.
