Central has a booth set up every Saturday through Spring and Summer in the parking lot near 10th and Topeka
Blvd., 7:30a to Noon.
Our ambitious bakers and loyal worker bees have decided to open the booth in 2010. Our first Saturday
to be open will be Mother's Day weekend, May 8th. This is good news for our regular shoppers. Wishing all a happy, pleasant
summer of Saturdays.
This is a wonderful mission project of the church, not only for a little added income, but a great chance to get
to know others in our church and in our community. It's also a wonderful method of community outreach.

Sheltered Reality
Music with Meaning
Sheltered Reality is a non-profit musical
organization made up of young people ages 6 to 18. It believes that Music can have Meaning, yet be a blast at the same
time! The group is dedicated to helping those who live in less fortunate circumstances, especially children (e.g., homeless,
runaways, domestic violence, drug/alcohol abuse, etc.) and combines high-energy music with an educational message which serves
to inspire others to volunteerism. Sheltered Reality teaches young and old aloke that learning about social problems
and how to address them is not only something that must be done, but that it can also be fun!
It is the beginning of the fifth year since
Central Congregational Church was chosen as a home church for the Northeast Kansas Sheltered Reality group.
Contact Christine White or Kristi Wilson
for rehearsal times and if you would like to become a member of the group.
